Accreditation

For reporting and/or professional photography, you will need accreditation from us, including a press pass. Please send us an e-mail using the appropriate contact form.

Accessibility
We are striving to make the AFF barrier-free step by step. :
We provide:

- Clear festival site with many helpers
- Car park with short distances to the campsite
- Paths laid out with mats to the most important locations
- Stepless access to the tents on the festival site
- Barrier-free toilets on the site
- Extra area with a view of the stage
- Finest Buddies: A Finest Buddies team is a Buddy with a disability and a companion Buddy. Together they are Finest Buddies and go to the festival together (see section Finest Buddies)

We cannot ensure this:
- Accessibility at the campsite (especially in bad weather)
- Accessible showers
- Complete accessibility at the festival
Admission and Admission control

As always, we will perform bag and body checks (no, nobody will be knocked down here) at all entrances to the camping and festival site to ensure your and our safety. In order to keep the procedure as efficient and short as possible, we ask you to bring only really necessary things (also for camping). Please support the security staff in this important task. You can find a detailed list of items that you are not allowed to bring with you in our Festival ABC under "Prohibited items".
BPlease be patient and understand that the entry process is incredibly stressful, dynamic and exhausting for the security staff and us as a crew. We will do our best to handle everything as quickly as possible - we promise! Our appeal to you: Bring as little luggage as possible!
By the way: the better prepared you are (ID ready, ticket ready, no glass or prohibited items), the quicker the admission process will be.

Age restrictions

A valid identity card is required for admission control. The age limits for minors (under 18) apply to both the festival site and the campsite.

  • -Up to and including 15 years: Access to the festival and camping site only with an authorised parent or guardian as part of the Family-Ticket. See Festival ABC “Family-Ticket”.
  • - 16 up to and including 17 years: Admission to the event is from the age of 16 and only when accompanied by a person with parental authority. Please note the regulations and the form here: https://allgaeusfinest.de/personen-unter-18/

Please note that the person with parental responsibility thereby assumes real responsibility. This should not be treated lightly.

Awareness

One of our most important goals is that you feel comfortable and safe at our festival at all times! If at any time you feel threatened or harassed in any way, speak to an Allgäus Finest CREW member and ask them: “Which way to Panama?”. They will take care of you and make sure that you are safe.

Agricultural area

We are all guests on the event site, which is why we leave the area as we found it - simply as a rich, green meadow. We would be grateful if you would also make sure that littering is kept to a minimum and that you follow our concepts for waste separation and waste deposit (see "Waste Separation").
Small plastic, glass and metal parts are things that are absolutely dangerous and deadly for the animals and the farmers' machines.

Animals

Leave guinea pigs, dachshunds, ferrets, tarantulas and everything else at home or with the person looking after them. They will certainly feel better there. For all those who can't do without animals: One or the other of the vermin will certainly be crawling around on our premises. If you are dependent on an animal, such as a guide dog, we will of course make an exception. Please contact us in advance using our form.

B

Box office

This year there are single-day tickets for each of the three festival days. However, like the full-weekend passes, these will be sold online in advance. As we have been sold out before the start of the festival in recent years, there will probably be no box office this year either. An exception is the family-ticket (more under “Family-Ticket”)

Bengalo

Is strictly forbidden at the Allgäus Finest Festival. Too many bad things can happen with it, see section "prohibited items".

Bag and entrance checks

As always, we will carry out bag and body checks at all entrances to the camping and festival site to ensure your and our safety.
In order to keep the procedure as efficient and short as possible, we ask you to bring only really necessary items (also when camping).
Please support the security service in this important task.
EYou can find a detailed list of items that you are not allowed to bring with you in our Festival ABC under "Prohibited items".

Please be patient and understand that the entry process for security and us as a crew is incredibly stressful, dynamic and exhausting. We will do our best to process everything as quickly as possible - we promise! Our appeal to you: Bring as little luggage as possible!

By the way: The better prepared you are (ID ready, ticket ready, no glass or prohibited items), the quicker the admission process will be.

The Allgäus Finest-Crew will try to fulfil all your wishes to make sure you have a wonderful weekend! We are constantly trying to improve our processes and the festival. Whoever treats us in a friendly and respectful way will receive the same unconditionally - however, a little understanding, reason and patience are also part of it ;-) If you are unable to do so, you may stay at home.
We ask you to always listen to the crew and especially the security staff. We will be happy to help you at the information stand on the festival site!
Would you like to join the crew and take part in the festival? More information under: „Join in“

Reminder: There is also a legal drink-drive limit for cycling.

Cash machine / payment with EC card

Children

See "Age Restrictions" and " Youth Protection"

Carpooling
One of the major CO2 drivers at festivals is travelling to and from the event. Shortly before the festival, there will be a social media post where you can connect to form carpools.

F

Family Tickets

The Allgäus Finest Festival doesn't just offer a colourful programme for the party crowd. There will also be plenty for the little ones to discover. Come to the daytime admission on Friday or Saturday from 12 pm and register as a family, provided you fulfil the following conditions:

  • Valid from 10 am - 7 pm
  • -Children up to 12 years need adequate hearing protection -> no admission without hearing protection.

Fire

Open fires are prohibited on the camping and festival site. Normal camping gas cookers are permitted.

Flyers, Posters, Promotional items, External events

If you want to advertise another event or cause, you must get prior authorisation from us. We are generally open to something like this but would like to check beforehand whether the event to be advertised is compatible with our corporate values.

Food meadow

We are all guests on the event site, which is why we leave the site as we found it - simply as a rich, green meadow. We would be grateful if you would ensure that littering is kept to a minimum and that you follow our concepts for waste separation and waste deposit (see "Waste Separation").
Small plastic, glass and metal parts are things that are absolutely dangerous and deadly for the animals and the farmers' machines.

First Aid

The Johanniter are available at all times ('honourable people'). In addition to a foot patrol, you will find the location of the Johanniter on the site map or on signs on the site. If necessary, the Johanniter can provide psychosocial emergency care (PSNV) with a 30-minute notice period.

Finest Buddys
A Finest Buddies team is a Buddy with a disability and a Companion Buddy. Together they are Finest Buddies. A Companion Buddy supports the Buddy with a disability. Both decide on the form of support. The most important thing is to spend time together and have fun at the festival.
Finest Buddies can be
  • -People with a disabled person's pass with the mark: B, H, aG, Bl or Gl.
  • People who accompany and support a Buddy with a disability at the festival.
Information on admission:
  • The Buddy with a disability must buy a ticket via the ticket shop.
  • The Finest Buddies must come to the festival entrance together.
  • The Buddy with a disability must show their disabled person's pass with the B, H, aG, Bl or Gl mark at the entrance. The accompanying Buddy will then be admitted to the festival free of charge.
Become a Companion Buddy or find your Companion Buddy for the Allgäus Finest Festival with our help!
We will put you in touch and support you in becoming a Finest Buddy team.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about Finest Buddies, are looking for a Buddy or would like to become a Buddy. Mail: inklusion@allgaeusfinest.de Mobile Madlien Wiedermann: +49 162 2742812
Food and Drinks (Breakfast)

You are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks onto the festival site. Fair prices are very important to us regarding the physical well-being of our guests. Water is therefore available for €1.50 in a 0.5 litre PET bottle with a lid. Unfortunately, we do not have a drinking water station as the festival takes place on a meadow without the necessary infrastructure.
We have carefully chosen food stalls to keep your stomach full. There is a varied selection of meat, vegetarian, vegan, sweet and savoury food.
We are happy about consumption at our sales stalls, because in this way we can further develop the festival and secure its existence.

G

Glass(ban)

There is an absolute ban on glass on the entire festival and camping site (including pickles, perfumes, glass bowls etc.)! Glass-like substances such as porcelain are also prohibited.
We simply owe this to our landlords, the animals!
In addition, glass poses a safety risk in the wrong hands, not to mention the risk of cuts. In fact, only glasses and medication such as insulin or any other proven necessary medication are allowed.
ÜbrigenBy the way: the less glass you bring, the quicker you can be admitted.

General Terms and Conditions

You can find the general terms and conditions for the Allgäus Finest here.

H

Hearing protection

You can get free "simple" earplugs at the town hall (information stand) and at the daytime admission. You can also borrow over-ear hearing protection for a deposit of €20. Children up to and including the age of 12 must wear suitable hearing protection. No entry without hearing protection.

I

Information stand ("Rathaus")

Here you can get all information or ask questions, express criticism and get information about the organisation of the festival. The information stand is located on the right-hand side as you enter the festival main entrance. Here you will also find merchandise, tobacco products and hearing protection.

J

Join in

Want to be part of the crew? Have you always wanted to take a look behind the scenes and take part in the production of a festival and experience the energy of community and fun? You can find all the information you need on our homepage under the „Join in“tab.
We look forward to receiving your application!

L

Lost property office

All lost property will be handed in or collected at the information stand during the festival. Here you can (hopefully) find lost items. The information stand is always staffed when the festival site is open. During the dismantling of the festival you can come by the area, about a week later lost property will be handed in to the City of Wangen

M

Market Square

On the market square you will find local exhibitors and our small art stage ("s'Bühnle"). Here you'll find a colourful range of activities from live talks and yoga to karaoke and open-mic sessions. We are constantly developing this area and differentiate the festival from a pure "party". You can find an overview here https://allgaeusfinest.de/marktplatz/

Meadow
We are all guests on the event site, which is why we leave the site as we found it - simply as a rich, green meadow. We would be grateful if you would also make sure that littering is kept to a minimum and that you follow our concepts for waste separation and waste deposit (see "Waste Separation"). Small plastic, glass and metal parts are things that are absolutely dangerous and deadly for the animals and the farmers' machines.

O

Opening hours

Thursday, August 22nd from 4 pm until Sunday

Campervan-Camping
Thursday from 4 pm to 10 pm
Friday from 10 am to 10 pm

Concert area
Thursday from 7 pm to 2.30 am
Friday from 12pm to 2.30 am
Saturday from 1pm to 2.30 am

We strongly advise against arriving earlier, as neither the concert site nor the car park and camping site will be open earlier and this will lead to (unnecessary) traffic obstructions.

P

Panama

"Which way to Panama?" Perhaps you already know this principle from other festivals.

Do you feel unsafe, harassed, threatened or uncomfortable? With the code word "Panama", our bar staff, the crew (each with a bright blue paper band on their wrist), security staff, paramedics, fire brigade or police will immediately help you out of the situation and - very importantly - take you to a safe place without hesitating or asking questions. You will then receive the help you need.

Parking

Please only park in the designated parking areas and follow the instructions of the crew and security. Follow the "AFF" event signs on the way to the festival. Please also pay attention to the information on the homepage and do not follow your navigation system near the festival! The car park is free of charge.

Police

As usual, the police will also be present at the Allgäus Finest Festival. In addition to the basic security of the festival, routine drug, alcohol, and age checks will also be carried out. The basic rule is: treat each other kindly and be friendly! Everyone is doing their job here and that's a good thing! If there are any problems that need to be dealt with by the police, you can contact our security staff or the crew (town hall/info stand) at any time. We will be happy to forward you or your concerns directly to the local police.

IMPORTANT
This overview does not claim to be exhaustive. In case of doubt, the statement of the safety personnel and the crew always applies.

R

Racism

It sucks, we don't want it at our festival.

S

Shisha

A much-discussed topic. But the rules are pretty simple: Is any part of your shisha made of glass or porcelain? If so, then the shisha falls under the glass ban and may not be brought in. If nothing (nothing at all) on the shisha is made of glass, then you are welcome to bring it along.

Showers

In general, we do not have the infrastructure for "proper" showers on the site. However, we will provide you with a freshwater point where you can draw water. Therefore, nothing stands in the way of a classic "cat wash" :-) Please note that this is NOT DRINKING WATER. Please use the water responsibly. The locations can be found on the site map click

Site plan

We will communicate the updated site plan shortly before the festival. You can find the current site plan here

Sustainability
Sustainability and festivals - a paradox? Perhaps. For us, sustainability is an ongoing process and not a target state. We endeavour to continuously explore and implement options that make our festival a more socially and ecologically sustainable place. For us, sustainability means future viability based on conscious thinking and action. As organisers, we therefore want to take responsibility for the impact of our activities on the environment and society. Social aspects such as awareness and accessibility are just as important to us as integration into local economic cycles and minimising our ecological impact. These include the impact on the area and the neighbouring nature, but also the impact on the climate. In order to keep an eye on this, we are starting to draw up a life cycle assessment of our festival this year. To this end, we are diligently collecting data and developing appropriate measures.
We also see culture as a driver for sustainable development: we need a change in society that is accompanied by culture. As part of the event industry, we want to live, share and promote creativity, cooperation and balance in collaboration with various stakeholders.
We also rely on your help when it comes to sustainability: We aim to improve every year and make the festival and the processes behind it more and more sustainable. Please also question your own actions at the festival and kindly point out environmentally harmful behaviour to your fellow human beings. Disrespectful behaviour towards the environment and our fellow human beings has no place here. We will only succeed if we work together!
Severe weather
In the event of severe weather, we will inform you immediately via all information channels available to us: Stage announcements, Facebook, Instagram, homepage. Basically, we will inform you about what exactly to expect: Storm? Hail? Heavy rain? Thunderstorms? And how long will it take to reach us?

How do you behave correctly?

Important: In extreme weather conditions, your tents and pavilions will not provide sufficient protection! Make sure you follow the instructions of the festival staff (security, fire brigade, crew) and get to safety:

If you are there with a vehicle: Get into your car or campervan immediately.
If you have free space in your vehicle: Switch on your warning lights to signal to other festival visitors that they can stay with you. If you are there without a vehicle: Look out for vehicles with their warning lights switched on. The festival staff are also there for you! If you are a direct festival resident: There is no safer place than your home!

We will keep you up to date via our social media channels and the LED wall on the campsite about the further course of events, e.g. whether and when the festival will continue. So keep an eye on these channels and most importantly: help each other!

T

Tickets – FAQ

Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions about tickets:

  • Each day, weekend, camping or campervan ticket is only valid for one person at a time.
  • A weekend ticket cannot be used by two different people on different festival days.
  • Camping is NOT automatically included in the festival ticket. Each camper needs a separate camping ticket in addition to the festival ticket! A campervan ticket is valid for one vehicle including one person.
  • The camping ticket authorises access to the camping site. It is valid per person, not per tent! Each camper requires their own camping ticket.
  • Motorhomes: One campervan ticket is required per motorhome/caravan. This is valid for the vehicle and for one person. Example: Four of you are travelling in a camper van -> you need 1 camper van ticket, 3 camping tickets and 4 weekend or day tickets.
  • An additional deposit is charged on the price of the camping ticket. You can get this amount back by returning a full waste bag to the waste station at the drop-off times. We love waste separation, see "Waste Separation".
  • If you still have questions about the tickets, please contact tickets@allgaeusfinest.de directly.

Toilets & sanitary facilities

We provide sufficient Dixie toilets on the festival and camping site, including daily emptying and cleaning. In terms of comfort, of course, this does not come close to the throne at home and the toilet paper can sometimes be empty. So check if there's toilet paper before you go.

There will also be freshwater stations (NO DRINKING WATER!) this year. Please pack your swimming trunks / bikini - a good idea for a festival anyway - as we don't have lockable cabins.

Top-up station (cashless)
Here you can top up balance by card payment or cash on your chip on the festival wristband. You can also top up your credit in advance on our homepage. There will be a post about this shortly before the festival. Everything else about the payment system under “Cashless”.
Theft
Please do not leave any valuables unattended or put them away as securely as possible. Wherever there are a great number of people, there is a greater likelihood that there may be one or the other crappy person around. If you lose something or if someone seems suspicious, please contact the security staff immediately.
Town Hall (“Rathaus”)
Here you will find the information stand, where we are available to help and advise you. The money exchange office (“Wechselstube”; charging station for the cashless system) is located in the same building. You will also find our own merchandise, tobacco products and hearing protection here. All in one place. Here is the link to the site plan https://allgaeusfinest.de/gelaendeplan/

W

Water

We are building a freshwater point for you where you can draw water. So nothing stands in the way of a classic "cat wash" :-) Please note that this is NOT DRINKING WATER. Please use water responsibly.
The locations can be found on the site plans

Weather

At a festival you are exposed to all kinds of weather conditions. Nobody can influence what happens and when. The only thing we can do is to be as well prepared as possible.

Heat
We all look forward to nice weather! But extreme heat can quickly become unpleasant. Be sure to drink plenty of water and skip the occasional beer! Bottled water will also be available on the campsite in hot weather. Also wear adequate sun protection.

Rain
Wellies and a rain jacket (poncho) belong in every festival kit anyway.

Severe weather
In the event of severe weather, we will inform you immediately via all information channels available to us: Stage announcements, Facebook, Instagram, homepage. Basically, we will inform you about what exactly to expect: Storm? Hail? Heavy rain? Thunderstorms? And how long will it take to reach us?;

How do you behave correctly?

We will keep you up to date via our social media channels and the LED wall on the campsite about the further course of events, e.g. whether and when the festival will continue. So keep an eye on these channels and most importantly: help each other!

Waste deposit

You will find the waste deposit return and the containers for waste separation at the campsite entrance (click to the site map).

You can exchange your full waste bags (see "Waste Separation") for the waste deposit during the following periods:

Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon and from 4 pm to 8 pmr
Sunday from 8 am to 12 noon

Waste Separation

We separate, join in! In order to leave the site as clean as possible for cows, insects and co. this year too we will be using the waste separation concept. In order not to burden the environment too much due to our party mood, we try to return as many resources as possible to the cycle. We have set up several rubbish bin stations and you can also get the different rubbish bags at the camping entrance.
Therefore, we separate:

yellow bag/bin = plastic/RaWEG /yellow bin
blue bag/bin = metal/canned food without deposit
black bag/bin = residual waste
red bin = paper

Attention NEW: This year you can hand in your can deposit to our Trash Heroes feat. Viva con Agua on Saturday afternoon. This year they will once again choose the cleanest campsites - with a clean camp you have the chance to win festival tickets for next year! All donations will go to Viva con Aqua!

Y

Youth Protection

A valid identity card is required for the control at the entrance. The age limits for minors (under 18) apply to both the festival site and the campsite. You can find more information here

  • Up to and including 15 years: Access to the festival and camping site only with a parent or guardian as part of the Family-Ticket. See Festival ABC "Family Ticket".
  • - 16 up to and including 17 years: Admission to the event is from the age of 16 and only when accompanied by a person with parental authority. Please note the regulations and the form here: https://allgaeusfinest.de/personen-unter-18/

Please note that the person with parental responsibility really does assume responsibility. This should therefore not be treated lightly.
